Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. The Main Attraction

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
